Using two speaker cabs on a small (casual) gig- [see yesterday’s entry] When using two relatively small speaker cabs, try placing them coupled to the floor in a ‘V’ shape position whereas the cabs are touching and the inside corners create a square (yep, a portion of one cab will be focused directly towards the exterior side of the adjacent cab). If done correctly you will achieve a super tight bottom end and a nice sound throughout the room. Experiment, and remember this tip assumes you are not ‘in the mains’…
