Tip Of The Day

Rehearsal note-  continuing with a tip from two days ago, setting up for a rehearsal using amps can quickly become a ridiculous quagmire……’the bass man stands beside his amp pointed directly at the vocalists who can’t hear himself’ ….etc.  If possible, set up in a semicircle with amps on the inside focused directly at its owner! If you can’t hear someone, you are too loud. Use the subtractive process until everyone is happy. A single powered speaker should suffice for all vocals. Rehearse at a low volume. It will pay off come Showtime. Note: of course full production rehearsals are critical, but not as a daily routine.
